There’s also the Lofi feature that replicates the texture of 12-bit samplers. Lastly, the Shape control combines inflation with compression for dynamic control, which is especially handy on 808s.
The four color modes offer more than you’d get with standard saturation by preserving transients and keeping the low end intact. Shock tightens the attack, Rift adds grit and sustain, Tremor delivers heavy low-end power, and Fault provides a clean gain boost above 60Hz.
