Get Arturia Analog Lab Play + Cryptic Soundscapes Expansion for FREE

Audio Plugin Deals is having a promotion where you can get Arturia’Analog Lab Play and Cryptic Soundscapes for free.

Arturia is a big name in the world of music production, with a wide variety of products. MIDI controllers, synths, virtual instruments, FX, and more.

And Analog Lab Play is the free tier of their powerful sound engine, Analog Lab where you can find a variety of sounds ranging from emulations of analogue synths to pianos, organs, and beyond.

We have previously covered Analog Lab Play on BPB, and it’s great to see more free sounds becoming available to music creators. Today, let’s dive into Cryptic Soundscapes.

Cryptic Soundscapes is a sound bank from Arturia and runs in Analog Lab Play. It contains 50 sounds ranging from pads to sequences, drums and more.

The sounds are dark and atmospheric, geared towards genres like ambient and cinematic music.

As with other Analog Lab sound banks, you don’t get to create the sounds from scratch.

Instead, you can pick from premade sounds but still have a good amount of macro control over things like Timbre, LFOs, and FX.

This can be great if you have a rough of the tone you want but not the know-how on how to create it. Or if you’re looking for a specific instrument but don’t have the money to spend on a whole new sample library.

Here is a user demo where you can see Cryptic Soundscapes in action. As you can see, there are a variety of presets well suited for creating ambient music.

One of my favorite presets out of the 32 available is Heavenly Sweep. It has this dream-like vibe, which would be great for creating a spacy atmosphere.

The Big Finish preset is also similar but more gritty-sounding if that’s what you’re into. Chaotic Drums is another very interesting patch with a big drum sound and a long feedback delay.

Additionally, there are some really lovely Choir patches, which personally remind me of ambient artists like Aphex Twin.

Cryptic Soundscapes runs as a sound library in Arturia Analog Lab Play, which you can get for free for Windows and macOS in VST2, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone formats.

  1. Dead link and no sign of any current Arturia Lab Play deal on their site. Is this deal seriously over already? If so, that was ridiculously quick…

  2. Thanks to BPB, APD and Arturia for this freebie. I already own Analog Lab, but extra soundbanks are always welcome.
For Analog Lab users, don’t forget to check the Store. There are 12 free soundbanks available.

    • You were able to download the soundbank today? It’s a dead link for me, stating “This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for so at least take this banana.”

    • Ah, I see you replied to me while I was replying to your other comment. I’ll give it another try right now.

      • Looks like it’s still not working.
Analog Lab Play is free anyway, you can also get it from PluginBoutique. But that does not include the soundbank.

  3. It worked (i.e. the webpage was there), but my phone was very slow and I got an error message saying the order didn’t go through (it didn’t)… When I tried again it said the product was not on offer anymore 😕

  4. Thier software is sorta lame it doesn’t copy where it is supposed to on other drives it want’s to copy it all on c: also the offer is not available with that link and the sampler wants you to log in … I deleted it wasn’t interested in that concept even though it was free
