Sonicstate has partnered with MOK to create an exclusive giveaway for all its Patrons, where you can get the MOK Miniraze virtual synth for free.
Sonicstate Patreons can claim a free copy of the MOK Miniraze virtual synth ($49 value). The offer is open to all Sonicstate Patrons, including the free tier.
If you aren’t a Patreon yet, it only takes a minute to join, and then you can head straight to the giveaway post to get your Miniraze redeem code.
You’ll have to create an MOK account before redeeming your freebie code, which is also a speedy process.
The giveaway form will close on 23rd August 2024, but existing Patreons will have until 30th September to claim their free Miniraze.
Miniraze is a wavetable synth featuring MOK’s patented wave-slicing engine. The synth has three oscillators that utilize a streamlined version of MOK’s proprietary wave-slicing oscillator technology found in the “big brother” synth, Waverazor.

The powerful wave-slicing engine lets you splice waveforms together within a single oscillator, creating complex and unique sounds.
Miniraze also offers plenty of modulation with four LFOs that can each be routed to eight parameters. You can route envelopes to four parameters; an additional matrix allows four more sources and destinations.
Adding motion to your sound is easy, thanks to a built-in arpeggiator with 52 settings.

Despite being a forward-thinking synth, Miniraze has a real retro character, from the sound to the interface. The synth is capable of retro analogue sounds and much more modern and aggressive tones. Also, it’s perfect for lovers of retro sci-fi sounds, you know, the future from the 1980s.
As I mentioned, even the interface has a retro look, and MOK has aimed to keep things simple with a typical East Coast-style layout.
MOK has gone the extra mile with the interface by providing 34 languages (including Klingon for any Trekkies out there) and 18 themes. I don’t usually bother too much about changing themes or skins on plugins, but I’m glad of it this time because I find the default red and blue a bit much for my eyes.
There are even some special colour themes available that provide accessibility for anyone with colour blindness; I think that’s pretty cool.
If you don’t fancy becoming a Sonicstate Patreon (remember, it’s free), you can take advantage of a 20% discount on MOK’s Filtryg using the code FILTRYG20 at checkout.
Don’t forget to check out the VSTBuzz closing down sale before it’s gone, too!
