VocalNet isn’t the first step into the world of artificial intelligence for Session Loops.
The forward-thinking developer released DrumNet early in 2023; DrumNet is an AI-powered drum synthesizer plugin that allows users to create unique drum kits for any style of music.
VocalNet brings the power of artificial intelligence to vocal manipulation, allowing you to transform any voice wildly.
One of the common complaints about many AI-based plugins is the need for a constant internet connection, but you can enjoy the whole VocalNet experience offline.
If you’ve ever wanted to sound like Yoko Ono, but you just don’t have the vocal chops, today is your lucky day!
I’m joking, of course; if you’ve ever wanted to sound like Yoko Ono, no plugin can help you.
VocalNet is all about creating vocals that sound great.
VocalNet has two modes: Capture Mode and File Mode.
Capture Mode is when you record vocals in real-time, and File Mode is when you load an audio file directly into the plugin. In File Mode, you can drag and drop the converted results straight into your DAW.
In both modes, VocalNet uses trained AI models to convert the audio. You can load free public models trained through the open-source project.
For example, you might want to make a voice sound more masculine, feminine, cleaner, grittier, or more characterful.
In addition to transforming the tonal character of your voice, you can transpose, specifically, those keys you can’t manage without a bit of help.
VocalNet makes your voice (or vocal recording) sound different, which means it’s not exclusively about making a voice sound better.
If you’re a songwriter with a good voice, you might need a different sort of vocal performance for a particular demo.
If you’re like me and can’t sing a note, it could save you the trouble of drafting in a real singer to make a demo.
You can try VocalNet for free with a fully functioning 14-day trial. After the trial ends, File Mode is disabled.
VocalNet is available in AU, VST3, and AAX formats for macOS and Windows.

onCool. My biggest concern is “Is there a tool that can automatically turn bad vocal recording make in acoustical non-treated room? And can it work with other instrument takes as well?”.
