After submitting the order, you’ll be forwarded to a page with links to the download files and a license key that can be used three times. The plugin requires 100 Mb of disk space.
Soundfingers designed Etheral Melodica as a melodica plugin for dub and reggae productions.

Naturally, it’s not limited to just that, and I could see plenty of applications for it in other styles such as folk, funk, world music, rock, electronic music, soundtrack work, and more.
Etheral Melodica offers eight melodica characters, expression controls (velocity, mod wheel, breath controller), a phaser, tape delay, reverb, and 20 presets.
Soundfingers notes that dub producers may often have to rely on complex effects chains to produce the right tones for the genre.
With Etheral Melodica, the devs aimed to deliver an FX rack customized for dub, a broad range of tones and an instrument with a distinctive sound.
The devs state that the plugin can do anything from simple reed sounds through to spacey, experimental tones.
Soundfingers uploaded eight audio demos to the product page that show off several presets applied to chords and melody parts.
There doesn’t appear to be an official YouTube demo, but several users have created long-form YouTube demos for the plugin that really allow you to hear it stretch its legs.

I must admit I haven’t thought much about adding melodica to productions, but some of the best freebies are more unusual drops like this because it’s fair to say most producers are already sorted for the basics like EQ, verb, and compression.
I reckon the design of the plugin with integrated effects is quite clever and will make Etheral Melodica a natural fit for producers who want to get up and running quickly, perhaps while writing and demoing, without getting bogged down with tweaking a host of different plugins.

BLXWXN
onThere’s obviously a sample-rate issue or something similar in that first video, there’s an awful digital noise or something in the high end. It’s not present in the second video, so the plugin is probably fine. Just thought It’d post for people quickly scanning through.

onYes BLXWXN agree with the hardness of the sound, sadly is not only the first video, it is also present on the other video, in both at all settings, hence it must be ingrained in the sound.
I am particularly sensitive to these noises, so it is a pass.
