TCS-68 is a tape cassette emulation based on a famous 90s multitrack recorder. The developer describes it as a “high-grade lo-fi sound”. Perfect if you feel like your sound needs a little crunch and spice.
The unit has a trim control, an EQ with low and high shelves, and an adjustable mid band from 250Hz to 5kHz, as well as a pan pot!
You can engage an emulated preamp, tape compression, hiss, and a cross-talk feature to give your track even more organic character. TCS-68 thus has a lot of features that can help you place elements in your mix and bring forth both contrast and vibe.
