Cluster Sound has released a free FREE JVC KB-800 vintage keyboard sound library for Ableton Live.
The library features over 1,380 multi-samples and one-shot sounds captured from the JVC KB-800 vintage keyboard. The files are provided in WAV format, along with a set of devices for use in Ableton Live. The collection includes four Synth Devices, sixteen Drum Devices, and four Convolution Pro Devices.
It’s also worth noting that Ableton is offering the Live 10 Suite software bundle completely free of charge for 90 days. You can install Ableton’s flagship digital audio workstation and use it with Cluster Sound’s freely downloadable sound libraries. There are plenty of free Ableton Live packs to download at Cluster Sound, featuring the sounds of popular instruments like the Roland SH-101, Alesis HR-16B, Yamaha TX81Z, and more.
Even if you don’t use Ableton Live, the JVC KB-800 pack is worth the download. The included WAV samples are clearly labeled and sorted into folders for easy browsing. Creating custom mappings for the multi-samples isn’t too hard with such a well-organized set of files.
The JVC KB-800 Ableton Live pack can be downloaded entirely free of charge via Cluster Sound. A valid email address is required to sign up for a user account. You will also need to install Ableton Live to use the included kits and devices. The included WAV samples can be used in any sampler instrument.
