IK Multimedia is giving away the AmpliTube Metal (€99.99 value) expansion for AmpliTube Custom Shop to all new and existing newsletter subscribers until July 15th, 2020.
AmpliTube Metal is a popular virtual gear add-on for the freely downloadable AmpliTube Custom Shop guitar amp suite. The collection features 48 gear models for heavy metal and similar music styles. It includes a selection of high-gain guitar amps, various distortion stompboxes, and custom effects.

Some of the highlights are the Vintage Metal Lead amp based on the Marshall JMP100 head and the Metal Lead W, which is based on the Randall Warhead 300.
Keep in mind that you will need to install the AmpliTube Custom Shop software to use the gear included with AmpliTube Metal. AmpliTube Custom Shop is a free download from IK Multimedia. It is available in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats for 64-bit digital audio workstations on PC and Mac.
Here are the detailed instructions on how to claim your free copy of AmpliTube Metal:
- Sign up for the IK Multimedia newsletter.
- Go to your User Area to download your free copy of AmpliTube 4 Custom Shop. You might need to sign up for an IK Multimedia user account first.
- Go to the My Products section of your User Area to find your AmpliTube Metal serial number.
- Install and authorize AmpliTube Metal by inserting the serial number in IK Multimedia’s Authorization Manager app.
- Open the AmpliTube Custom Shop inside the AmpliTube section and click the “Restore My Gear” button.
Again, this offer is valid for new and existing IK Multimedia users. If you already have an account and an active newsletter subscription, skip the first two steps and claim your AmpliTube Metal serial number right away. If not, be sure to complete the process before July 15th, 2020.
