Reverb is offering the Berzerk ($99 value) multi-mode distortion effect by Waves as a free download from their website for a limited time only.

In short, Berzerk is a multi-mode distortion effect that doesn’t attempt to emulate any specific analog hardware. Instead, it delivers ten completely original distortion algorithms that are loosely inspired by various amps, guitar pedals, and more. Berzerk also enhances your sound design work workflow with handy features like M/S processing, sidechaining, and more.
Even if you already own several distortion plugins, Berzerk is likely to become a valuable addition to your FX collection. Use it twist and mangle the source audio in new and unpredictable ways. Speaking of being unpredictable, Berzerk comes with a randomization feature that is sure to deliver some unique distortion flavors with a single mouse click.
Berzerk includes 10 unique shapes, each with its own personality. Some transform the sound to add grit, dirt, character; others will blow your head off. The ‘Go Berzerk!’ button creates random variations in each waveshape, letting you personalize the signal. Turn the Density knob to shift the waveshape in amplitude, but watch out—it might get loud!
