Get 50% off Arturia’s brand-new Pigments 7 synthesizer

December 17, 2025By James Nugent9 Comments
Arturia Pigments 7
Pigments 7 is the latest (brand-new) version of Arturia’s flagship multi-engine synth, and there are a few ways to get a great deal right now.
Pigments 7 is available for $99 (usually $199) from Arturia until January 5, 2026. It’s available for the same price at Plugin Boutique, along with a gift.
Before I get deeper into the Plugin Boutique promotion, there’s even better news for existing Pigments owners; you can upgrade for free via your Arturia Software Center.
I also want to highlight Arturia’s offer to Analog Lab Intro owners.
Anyone who owns Analog Lab Intro (which was recently free) can buy Pigments 7 direct from Arturia for $70, which is lower than the $99 intro price and less than half the standard price of $199.
Many of you would have picked up Analog Lab Intro for free recently and have another chance to cash in.
If you decide to go with Plugin Boutique, along with the discount, you’ll get a free gift.
The current gift selection is Moog’s Moogerfooger MF-103S, AudioThing’s Things-Fold, iZotope VEA, or a one-month LoopCloud subscription.
Pigments has been a powerhouse for years now, and with modal, granular, wavetable, sample, harmonic and virtual analog, and utility engines, there isn’t much you can’t do.

You also have twin morphing filters, drag-and-drop modulation, sequencing, and a wide range of built-in FX.
As deep as Pigments goes, it’s always been relatively user-friendly with a nice color-coded interface. However, one thing I like about this upgrade is the newly designed Play page.
You can preview patches with all fundamental info/components clearly displayed, which brings an immediacy to your workflow that previous versions can’t match.
While we’re on preset patches, I’ve been messing around with Pigments 7 for an hour or two, and even as a longtime user, some of these patches blow me away. There are some incredible glitchy pads and evolving leads that really stand out.
The leads, in particular, surprised me because the evolution is very slow for some; you can comfortably play melodic lines without change, but if you hold on, you get this underlying rumble and texture that builds in momentum all the time (it’s quite brilliant).
Pigments 7 introduces several new filter models, including Reverb, Ripple, and Rage. The Rage filter is interesting; it injects distortion into the feedback path, but it feels less uniform or stiff than typical distortion.
There’s a lot to like about the update, but in some ways, it’s what it always has been.
It has always been an incredibly flexible synth for sound designers, and now it’s more flexible.
It has always delivered fast access to great sounds for anyone who doesn’t want to dive too deep, and now it’s even faster.
Pigments sounds have always been very responsive to your input for creative and emotive performance, and now, thanks to enhanced synthesis engines, they are even more responsive.
So, in that sense, I hope it never changes. If you can get a good deal on Pigments at any time, it’s worth owning.
If you go through Plugin Boutique, I’d go for the Moogerfooger because that’s just always fun to throw into the mix.
Pigments 7 is available in 64-bit AU, VST, AAX, and Standalone formats for macOS (11 and later) and Windows (10 and later).
