Artists in DSP have officially launched the world’s first plugin remix contest with Amorph.
We’ve covered Amorph a few times now, from the initial open-beta release to the latest update; this time, we have something a little bit different to share.
Artists in DSP have launched the world’s first plugin remix contest.

At the heart of the remix contest is a brand-new Vowel EQ patch for Amorph that provides the foundation of your remix.
The Vowel EQ patch creates human-like vowel sounds by boosting specific frequencies.
You can find the new Vowel EQ patch directly inside the Amorph FX Hub.
Once you open the Vowel EQ patch, you’re free to remix the DSP in any way you choose; there are no genre restrictions.
You can remix the DSP to create another effect, like a vowel reverb or delay, or create a new instrument, like a vowel synth.
Once you’re happy with your remix, submit it along with a 30-second demo video for your chance to win Amorph Patch API credits ($30 reward for the Amorph Patch Agent) and a featured placement for your creation.
The developer will add selected entries to YouTube, where people can comment and vote, and to the Hub, where users can test your creation.
If you’re new to Amorph and wondering what the hell a plugin remix contest is, here’s some context.
Amorph is an AI-driven text-to-DSP tool that lets you bring ideas to life without any coding knowledge or experience.

Amorph takes a prompt, like “Make a chorus effect similar to the Roland Juno Chorus,” and returns an AI prompt that you can paste into ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
The Large Language Model you use then returns code that Amorph will compile into a plugin/instrument with a functional interface.
A recent update brought deeper customisation for user interfaces.
Check out our previous Amorph articles for more information.
Amorph is available in AU and VST3 formats for macOS and Windows.
You’ve got a little over a week to submit your entry to the plugin remix contest (the contest deadline is June 7, 2026).
