Iris 2 is a virtual instrument that combines a sampler’s flexibility with the power of a modular synthesizer. It uses sample playback, synthesis, and spectral filtering to generate unique and unusual sounds.

      Ok, now listen!
      I have this one for ages. Don’t get it!.
      It is really buggy and above all, very slow. You will get really frustrated. It produces gltching, crackling and good luck if you can make you DAW run without a sudden stop or crush!.

    This is a crazy good deal, this plugin is amazing if youre someone who uses a lot of samples. Best thing about it is that is auto maps your samples pitch to the keyboard as if the sample were C. Layer in a few more samples and you’ve got a one of kind patch going on really quick. One of the most inspiring plugins I’ve used in awhile.

    I got it for free a while ago from PluginBoutique, but I still don’t really see what it can really do… I never watched or listened to any convincing demo of what it can do…

    Very high on CPU… But if you want to do serious sound designing just open a dedicated project for this synth… Bcozz you can achieve the sound u want achieve pretty quickly using this monster… I may not use this one regularly but as a music producer we have to surprise our audience once in a while , whatever it takes… Sound >>>>> CPU

      I noticed if you work on a song in 96kHz or 192kHz, it is high in CPU, but as soon as you switch to 48 or 44, then it is good.

    Damn, I just bought some presets from them 20 minutes ago and took the stupid Neutron Elements, then found this page, now I can’t get the Iris for free.. man that sucks

    Im seeing a lot of other pages say that Iris 2 have it for free on plugin boutique until November 30th, but it is indeed Nov 12 because the code doesnt work anymore….. ugh
