Download FREE Caleidoscope Sound Library For Kontakt

Kontakt Hub is offering the Caleidoscope sound library by Soundethers as a free download. The library is compatible with the Native Instruments Kontakt virtual instrument plugin (version 5.8 or above). It is not compatible with the freeware Kontakt Player version (read more about the Kontakt Player demo mode).

Caleidoscope is a multi-instrument sound library for Kontakt. It is based on a 1.2 GB multi-sample set, covering keys, synth pads, vocal performances, sound effects, field recordings, layered sounds, and more. The library includes 64 layered patches and 82 individual instrument presets.

The library features a custom UI for Kontakt. The presets consist of up to three layers with adjustable gain, pitch, and panning. The user can also control the global filter, pitch, and volume envelopes. Depending on the type of preset, the modulation wheel controls the bitcrushing amount or the rhythmic gate effect. Caleidoscope also features a set of built-in effects and a rhythmic modulation engine for created gated pads, arpeggios, and more.

In this extraordinary time of a worldwide lockdown, many musicians must stay at home. Here’s a free gift for all those who love to make music in their home studio. Soundethers and Kontakt Hub wish you safety and happiness during these strange times. We hope you enjoy the release.

The library is offered as a free gift for all Kontakt Hub users doing the lockdown. Register for a free Kontakt Hub user account and claim your free copy of the Caleidoscope library. Find more free music production software and sound libraries in our #StayAtHome article.
